PC photos lost: How can I get photos off my iPod to Mac?
The photos on the iPod are not stored in any easily-useable format unless you chose to store the "Full Resolution" photos on the iPod when you originally synced your photo library (this is an option in iTunes, which is turned OFF by default).
If you did sync your full resolution photos, they will be located under the \Photos\Full Resolution directory on your iPod, sorted into subfolders by year, month, and day.
If you do not have a "Full Resolution" sub-directory, then the only photos present on your iPod will be the ones that the iPod itself uses. These are stored in thumbnail databases, so you will need a third-party program to get off these photos from your iPod.
